With only about six weeks to go before the doors of Sibos 2012 open in Osaka, Japan - I thought I'd take this opportunity to give a brief overview of Microsoft's presence there. As a SWIFT Key Partner we've been an exhibitor at Sibos for 9 years now, essentially since the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT was developed, allowing banks to cost effectively move SWIFT messaging away from the mainframe for simplified XML messaging at much lower cost. Since then, Microsoft's presence has expanded year after year to highlight the depth and breadth of our platform - and to showcase solutions of many of our financial services technology partners.
This year our worldwide financial services leadership team will be on hand to discuss how our banking customers are achieving operational efficiency with core banking and payments solutions, deriving actionable intelligence from BI big data and analytics, driving more connected customer insights with our CRM solution, and delivering innovative solutions for today’s mobile employee and customer.
