The New Era of WorkSo you’ve been waiting for Windows 8 to really hit the streets before you take the dive?  Well this is your chance! Ushering in “the biggest wave of innovation in Microsoft history,” the New Era of Work launch series kicks-off next Tuesday, October 30th, at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA.

Waltham is the very first stop on this tour that will hit 32 cities across the country. We’re going to beat the Hollywood guys by a full three hours thanks to the time zone difference!

The New Era of Work is all about learning how the latest innovations in Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Office, Visual Studio, Windows Phone can transform the way you do business. It’s way too much to cover in a single day, so in fact, it’s more like five different days crammed into one.  There will be separate tracks at the Waltham event (other smaller venues on the tour may have fewer) that cater to:

Business Executives IT Executives IT Professionals
Development Managers Developers

As you might expect, I’ll be presenting (with some help from John Garland of Wintellect and John Pelak of Blue Metal Architects) at the Developers track, with a solid agenda focused on leveraging the Windows 8 development opportunity.  As of this writing, the agenda reflected on the site isn’t quite correct, so I’ve mocked up below what you'll be seeing in Waltham.
