We are so excited to announce.....
- Visual Studio 2012 Release Candidate (RC), Team Foundation Server 2012 and .NET Framework 4.5 is now available for download from the Visual Studio product website.
- The next release of Visual Studio will be officially called Visual Studio 2012.
- There is also a new Visual Studio logo. The logo features the longstanding infinity symbol, refreshed to embody the Metro style design principle. The new logo also represents the simplified and streamlined IDE experience that is being delivered with Visual Studio 2012.
- With the Release Candidate, there have been numerous improvements made to Visual Studio, including performance improvements across the board, updates to the UI based on customer feedback and enhancements to existing features.
- Also the the set-up for RC has been streamlined so you can start using Visual Studio 2012 more easily. RC will install over your like-edition of Visual Studio 11.
