Finding what security patches have been applied to your Windows Azure Guest Operating System

Recently I was asked by one of my customers how to find what security patches had been applied to the version of the guest operating system that was running their Windows Azure Services. Like many of our customers their IT department was required to know the security level of the O/S that their software and services were running on. I found a nice MSDN web site that will answer this question for your or for any of your customers.

At the botton you will see a list of guest o/s versions. Click on the link and it will take you to the page with the security information:

 

Listed here are the patches and KB articles that are present in this version of the Windows Azure guest O/S.

I hope this helps you and your customers keep track of security patches in the the cloud.
